#1 A woman’s fashion to avoid: Ugg boots, particularly in public and with shorts
As far as we're concerned, ugg boots have one purpose and one purpose alone: to keep your feet really warm by encasing them in wool. They're not a fashion item and they should never be treated as such. For some inexplicable reason, however, ugg boots have gained popularity in some circles as something you might wear outside on a warm day. We appreciate that trendy fashion isn't always logical, but this is going too far: pairing skimpy shorts with ultra warm foot wear just doesn't make any sense. Are you cold or are you hot? Make up your mind, and then dress appropriately.
#2 A woman’s fashion to avoid: Crocs when you're not on a boat
Ah, Crocs. Exactly how Crocs became popular is one of life's great unsolved mysteries. For sure, they have their uses. A pair of Crocs would be ideal on a boot, say, or when engaged in river activities like fishing or rafting. We even heard about a plan to provide them to needy people in Africa as durable footwear, which also sounds like a good idea. But wearing them out to brunch on a Sunday morning? It's awful. The bottom line is, they're really ugly, and will never be trendy fashion.
#3 A woman’s fashion to avoid: Metallic blue tights
If anyone is wondering whether or not they should buy or wear a pair of metallic blue tights, they should stop and ask themselves one simple question: am I a superhero? If 'no', put them down and walk away. We know that superheroes are hot right now, but that doesn't mean anyone should dress like one, even just from the waist down. This is a trendy fashion no-no!
